WooCommerce orders automatically in KLARA

No more retyping orders. With Pro, the plugin creates the customer and the invoice in KLARA as soon as an order is paid, with all line items, shipping, fees and the correct VAT rate. The free base plugin transfers with one click on the order action "Transfer to KLARA".

What it does

  • Transfers every order as soon as it is "Processing" (paid) or "Completed", in the background, so the checkout stays fast
  • Looks up the customer in KLARA by email address and creates new customers: Swiss companies as a company with contact person, everyone else as a person
  • Creates the invoice as a draft or books it directly, with IBAN and payment terms
  • Maps every line item to the VAT rate of your KLARA company (8.1 %, 2.6 %, 3.8 %), rounded to 5 centimes as in KLARA
  • Writes the KLARA invoice number into the order, each order only once; on an error the reason is shown in the order and one click sends it again

Swiss online shops on WooCommerce that keep their books in KLARA. KLARA itself offers no shop integration, something the KLARA community has been asking for for years.

Price

  • Free base plugin: free, with no time or volume limit; settings, connection test, bank accounts, log and the transfer of one order with the order action "Transfer to KLARA"
  • Pro: CHF 149 per shop and year, every order automatically as soon as it is paid, with updates and support; setup included in the first year. Planned for Pro: send the invoice directly by email, ePost or eBill, payment status back to the shop, credit notes on refunds
  • Agency: CHF 490 per year for up to 10 shops

Pro is free for 30 days, no commitment. It only becomes binding once you pay; without payment the automatic transfer stops and no costs arise. The paid year runs to its end, no refund; nothing renews by itself, the next annual invoice is an offer.

  1. First install the free base Strainovic IT Shop Invoices for KLARA from wordpress.org, then upload the downloaded Pro ZIP under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin; activate both. Pro requires the free base.
  2. In KLARA, under “Users”, create an API key with the finance right (for example the accountant role) and enter it in WordPress under WooCommerce → KLARA.
  3. The 30-day trial starts when you save the key. After that you enter your billing address in the plugin under “Billing address and invoices”, and the annual invoice comes by email; without payment the automatic transfer pauses, no order is lost, and the base plugin's order action stays free.
